Job Demand – DevOps ServiceNow Developer (Senior Principal):

Currently, ManTech is looking for a motivated, career and customer oriented ServiceNow developer to join our team in the Colorado or Chantilly VA area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core platform capabilities

Develops applications, including configuration, report development and data migration where applicable.

Identifies and implements best practice solutions to meet customer needs

Performs custom development and third party integration

Performs unit-tests and resolves code defects

Migrate code changes to production environment

Assists with technical design and documentation

Collaborates with internal stakeholders and team members in ServiceNow to create solutions that support business needs

Basic Competencies:

Graduate in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent

Experience in any of the responsibilities listed above

10+ years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience working on a large and complex software development project.

Experience developing service catalogs and ServiceNow workflows

Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, JavaScript)

Must be a U.S. citizen

Have current DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g. Safety + CE)

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Service Now Administrator (CSA)

Logical problem-solving approach and ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present in a group setting

Has a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow-up skills

Security Clearance Requirements:

TS/SCI w/Poly

physical requirements:

Must be able to remain in a steady state 75% of the time

Continuously operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculators, copy machines, and computer printers

The person in this position frequently communicates with coworkers, management, and customers, which may include giving presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

Must be able to locate information on a computer screen
