job Summary
Provides quality, cost-effective inpatient/outpatient care to patients/families and/or others in the target population by ensuring access, providing assessments, coordinating needed resources, and partnering with health care team members. Is. Utilizing excellent communication and negotiation skills, focuses on providing appropriate service in the most cost-effective formula to ensure that patient, provider, payer, and healthcare organization goals are met. Reports to the Unit Manager/Program Manager.
Seeking a licensed therapist to work within our ambulatory department providing group therapy services for PHP and IOP level care. The candidate has the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and work with many diverse programs. The candidate will be part of a behavioral health community that provides comprehensive services from inpatient to outpatient care. Our outpatient services are located on the campus of the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT. With over 200 years of serving community members with behavioral health needs, we have become one of the leading centers for behavioral health care in the Hartford area. Ability
Ability
- LCSW, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD are licensed to practice in the state of CT.
- The ability to meet the requirements for internal credentialing in individual and group or family therapy is essential.
- Demonstrates competencies, including knowledge and behavior to meet age specific patient needs.
